A Distinct Identity
Dream Tree Academy 573 is dedicated to inspiring and equipping youth with the essential skills for future success by combining financial literacy and workforce development with engaging fine arts education. Through hands-on experiences in music, t-shirt printing, podcasting, and a variety of creative programs, we empower young people to develop their creativity, technical skills, and self-expression. With a strong commitment to community service, we aim to foster a sense of responsibility, enabling students to make a positive impact while preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.
Bringing Change
Dream Tree Academy is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We have a strong network of experienced volunteers who are committed to supporting our students and positively impacting their lives. Each brings unique characteristics into our classrooms to provide students with the guidance they need. The curriculum we teach prepares the students to help them grow as a person and to support them in becoming the best versions of themselves. We have built this curriculum to include several areas of education to give students the mindset that they can go into any field they dream of.
EXPLORATION
We are an afterschool facility that offers a variety of programs to at-risk youth in Columbia, Missouri. The programs we offer will teach students life skills that they can use to enhance their personal and professional growth.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. To expose our students to this mindset, we provide them with the chance to give back to those in need through Food Bank volunteering, supply donations, and street clean-ups.
MENTORSHIP
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we want to provide our students with the utmost support in order to succeed. To accomplish this goal, we provide mentorship to all students aiming to build connections with community members and foster positive relationships. Fostering these relationships creates an everlasting impact on our students and gives them the confidence to excel in their future endeavors.
